Ingredients
3 tbsp molasses
3 tbsp of bourbon
2 tbsp of low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp freshly grated and peeled ginger
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
3 minced cloves of garlic
¼ tsp of freshly ground black pepper
4 (6-ounce) skinless salmon fillets
¼ cup finely chopped green onions
1 tbsp sesame seeds, roasted
Directions
In a large zip-top plastic bag, combine the first 7 ingredients. Seal the bag with the fish inside. Refrigerate for 1 ½ hour, rotating once or twice.
Over medium-high heat, heat a large nonstick skillet. Spray the pan with nonstick cooking spray. Cook for 4 minutes on each side, until salmon flakes readily when tested with a fork, or until the desired degree of doneness is reached.
Place 1 fillet on each of 4 dishes; drizzle 2 tablespoons sauce over each portion. 1 tablespoon green onions and ¾ teaspoon sesame seeds on top of each serving.
