Ingredients
½ cup softened butter
½ cup brown sugar, packed
¼ cup bourbon
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 tbsp baking cocoa
1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
Directions
In a small mixing bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 5-7 minutes. Whisk in the bourbon.
Add the flour and cocoa together; gradually add to creamed mixture, stirring until smooth.
Then mix in the chocolate chips.
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours, covered.
Roll into 1-inch balls and roll in pecans. Place on ungreased baking sheets 2 inches apart. 8-10 minutes at 350 °F until cookies are set.
Allow cooling for 5 minutes before carefully transferring to wire racks to cool completely. Keep it in an airtight container.
