Ingredients
2 ½ tsp. Rapid rise yeast
- 1 cup Water
2 ½ cups Flour
2 tbsp. Olive oil
Pinch of Sugar
1 tbsp. Garlic powder
1 cup Mozzarella cheese
½ tbsp Basil
½ tbsp Oregano
½ tbsp Parsley
Directions
Preheat the oven to 450 °F.
In a medium mixing bowl, mix flour, yeast, and sugar.
- Add water and olive oil, and mix thoroughly until the dough is smooth. Cover with a damp paper towel and let the dough stand for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how thick you prefer your breadsticks.
- While the dough is sitting, slice the cherry tomatoes into triangles. Set aside.
- Roll the dough on a lightly-floured sheet of wax paper until it is flat.
- Top the dough with a thin layer of mozzarella cheese. Then, top the cheese with garlic powder, oregano, and basil.
- Place the dough in the oven. Bake for 12 to 17 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted and the dough edges are browned.
- Remove the baked dough from the heat. Let it cool down for approximately 5 minutes.
- Slice into long, finger-like sticks. Then, place a tomato triangle on one end of each breadstick.
