Ingredients
1 can (8 oz.) sliced Mushrooms, drained
1 small Onion, sliced
1 Green bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
8 Provolone cheese slices
- Salt and pepper to taste
1 lb. Roast beef, thinly sliced
- 4 Submarine rolls, cut in half
Directions
Preheat an electric or stovetop skillet to medium-high heat. Place the mushrooms, onion, and pepper on one half of the grill.
- Place the roast beef on the other side. Cook and stir each group separately, breaking up the beef as it cooks. Season with salt.
- Place the slices of provolone cheese over the beef to melt while the vegetables are tender and the beef is hot. Turn the grill off.
- Fill the sandwich rolls with the cheesy grilled beef and top with the onions and peppers.
