Get creative in designing these Halloween Donuts. If you have kids, let them create their bizarre characters and decorate them with sprinkles, frosting, and candies. Their imagination is the limit.
This recipe uses store-bought doughnuts, but you can always make homemade ones if you like and have the time.
Ingredients
- 12 Chocolate glazed doughnuts
- 24 Candy eyes
- 12 Vampire teeth candies (or Plastic vampire teeth)
- Candy sprinkles
- 1 tube Red gel frosting (optional)
Directions
Put the vampire teeth in the hole at the center of each doughnut. Make sure to open the teeth slightly, giving them a ready-to-bite look.
- Add 2 candy eyes to each donut. The glaze should be able to keep them in place. If not, you can use a small dot of gel frosting to glue the eyes on the doughnuts.
- If desired, add Red gel frosting to the corners of the teeth to look like blood.
- Use candy sprinkles to decorate the doughnuts.
