Ingredients
5 oz. Pretzel sticks (or 35 Oreos)
1 ¼ lb. White chocolate, chopped
2 oz. Semisweet chocolate, chopped
Chocolate-covered malt balls (small and large)
Directions
Line a baking pan (ideally 9” x 13”) with parchment paper.
- Arrange the pretzels or Oreo cookies on the bottom of the pan so that it is covered completely.
In a double boiler, place white chocolate and melt. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
Carefully pour the melted white chocolate over pretzels or cookies. Using a small offset spatula, spread the chocolate to cover the pretzels or cookies evenly.
- In a double boiler, place semisweet chocolate and melt. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
Let the melted chocolate sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes, then transfer it to a small resealable bag. Cut off a small corner of the bag, and use it to pipe webs.
- To make spiders, cut the malt balls in half. Place small and large malt balls side by side on white chocolate while still wet to resemble spiders.
- Draw eyes and legs with piping black royal icing.
