Impress your guests with these cute Marshmallow Heads. They are easy to make and fun to decorate. You can also create different Halloween figures to add spookiness to the party.
Kids and kids at heart will surely love these sweet, soft, and colorful Halloween treats.
Insert a lollipop stick into the side of each marshmallow. When making Frankenstein and other monsters, insert the stick into the flat side of the marshmallow instead.
In a double boiler, place the white chocolate and melt. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Dip one marshmallow at a time into the melted chocolate. Shake off any excess chocolate by tapping the marshmallow gently on the edge of the container.
- Place the sticks upright in a florist’s foam or a drinking glass and let them stand at room temperature for 30 minutes or until the chocolate sets.
- Add food coloring to the melted chocolate for Frankensteins and Jack O' Lanterns. Mix 3 to 5 teaspoons of canola oil for every ½ cup of melted chocolate to keep it from hardening.
- Use the frosting to decorate the chocolate-dipped marshmallows. Tint it with food coloring as necessary.
