This festive drink is ideal for warming up on a cold day and will delight all of your guests. Follow these steps to make a Spiked Hot Chocolate from scratch using only the best ingredients.

Ingredients
3 tbsp. Cocoa powder
2 cup Milk
3 tbsp. Sugar
¼ tsp. Vanilla extract
1 pinch Cinnamon
¼ cup Semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
2 oz. aged or dark Rum, Bourbon, or Irish Cream
Directions
Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
- Whisk in the cocoa powder and 14 cups of milk until the cocoa powder is mostly incorporated.
- Incorporate the remaining milk until smooth.
- Heat the remaining ingredients over medium heat for about 2 minutes or until the chocolate is melted. Do not allow it to boil.
Add the alcohol and mix well. Finish it with whipped cream or marshmallows and serve immediately.
